CENTRAL INDUSTRIAL SECURITY FORCE RECRUITMENT IN FIRE CADRE- 2017

Online applications are invited from Male Indian citizens for filling up the temporary posts of CONSTABLE/FIRE in Central Industrial Security Force in the pay matrix Level-3 (Rs.21,700-69,100/-) (Pre-revised Pay Band – 1 Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2000/-) plus usual allowances as admissible to the Central Government employees from time to time. On their appointment, they will be governed under CISF Act and Rules as well as Central Civil Services Rules applicable to other members of the force from time to time. On appointment, they shall be entitled for the pensionary benefits as per the “New Restructured Defined Contributory Pension Scheme” applicable for the new entrants to the Central Government services w.e.f. 01-01-2004. The recruitment process will consist of Physical Standards Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Written Examination and Medical Examination. The salient features of the recruitment are as under:-

(i) Application from candidates will be accepted through ON-LINE MODE only at CISF website https://cisfrectt.in . No other mode for submission of application is allowed.

(ii) Candidates should also not wait till the last date of application to avoid a situation where they are deprived to fill up application due to reasons of crash of website due to heavy influx of applications and delay attributable to technical errors.

(iii) Physical Standards Test (PST)/Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Documentation, Written Test and Medical examination will be conducted at respective Recruitment Centers as per schedule.

(iv) Candidates belonging to SC/ST category and Ex-Servicemen, eligible for reservation are exempted for payment of fees. All such candidates must submit requisite certificate in prescribed proforma from the competent authority to prove their status. Failure to produce certificate in the prescribed format will render their candidature to be cancelled at PST/PET stage itself. 

(v) The Call letter/Admit card to candidates will be uploaded on the website https://cisfrectt.in at each stage i.e. for PST/PET & documentation, Written Test and Detailed Medical Examination during the recruitment process. 

(vi) Only those Candidates who qualify in PST/PET & documentation will be called for OMR based Written Examination. The written examination will be bilingual i.e in English & Hindi. 

(vii) After completion of PST/PET, documentation and Written Examination, State and category wise merit lists for (UR/SC/ST/OBC/Ex-Servicemen) will be drawn separately in respect of each State/UTs on the basis of aggregate marks obtained in the written test. 

(viii) The final selection of the candidates will be made in order of merit in each category and allotted vacancy to each State. List of selected candidates State/Category wise will be uploaded in CISF website. 

(ix) The candidates who find place in the select list as per the available vacancy in each category in the State will be called for Detailed Medical Examination (DME). 

(x) The candidates will be medically examined in accordance with revised uniform guidelines issued vide MHA UO No.A.VI-1/2014-Rectt(SSB) dated 20th May‟2015 and instructions issued from time to time to assess their physical and medical fitness. RULES AND NORMS :-
(i) Application from candidates will be accepted through ON-LINE MODE only. As such candidates are required to apply only ONLINE. No other mode for submission of application is allowed. 

(ii) Physical Standards Test (PST)/Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Documentation, Written Test, Trade Test and Medical examination will be conducted by the CRPF at respective Recruitment canters as per schedule. 

(iii) Tattoos marked on traditional sites of the body like inner aspect of forearm, but only left forearm, being non-saluting limb or dorsum of the hand are to be allowed. Size must be less than ¼ of the particular part (Elbow or Hand) of the body. (See para 11(IV)(A)6 of this advertisement notice)

(iv) Application fee @ Rs 100/- from General and OBC candidates will be charged. Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and ExServicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from paying fee.

(v) Candidates should also not wait till the last date of application to avoid a situation where they are deprived to fill up application due to reasons of crash of website due to heavy influx of applications and delays attributable to technical errors. 2

(vi) Candidates belonging to SC/ST category are exempted for payment of fees. As such candidate who applies in exam indicating his category as SC or ST must produce a certificate in any of the format issued by a authority to prove his status. Failure to produce certificate in any of the format will render his candidature to be cancelled at PST/PET stage itself.

(vii) The Call letter/Admit card to candidates will be uploaded on the website www.crpfindia.com at each stage i.e. for PST/PET & documentation, Written Test, Trade Test and Detailed medical examination during the recruitment process. Besides, shortcomings, if any, noticed in online application of the candidate at initial stage, the candidate will be informed through SMS/E-mail to sort out query immediately as far as possible. 

(viii) Candidates who qualify in PST/PET & documentation will only be eligible to appear in OMR based written examination.

(ix) State/Trade and category wise result of written test cum merit list etc (for male/female separately) will be drawn.

(x) To ensure smooth, transparent, accurate and minimize human error, force will employ adequate measures and modernized means for conduct of PET event and computing of PST details.

(xi) The written examination will be bilingual i.e in English & Hindi.

(xii) Result of written examination will be declared through website.

(xiii) All the candidates qualified in written examination will undergo trade test and called for trade test in order of merit list in each category/trade. Admit card/call letter intimating place and date on which they are required to appear for trade test will be uploaded in the website i.e. www.crpfindia.com

(xiv) The candidates who qualify in trade test will be shortlisted for Detailed Medical Examination (DME) based on performance in written examination. The candidates will be medically examined in accordance with existing medical guidelines to assess their physical and medical fitness as prescribed in the eligibility conditions. During detailed medical examination, “Temporary unfitness” will not be allowed. Detailed instructions on procedure of medical examination and relevant provisions are elaborated in further paras.

(xv) After detailed medical examination and further, where required, a review medical examination, State and category wise merit for General, SC, ST, OBC & Ex-servicemen candidates will be drawn separately for each trade and category for male & female candidates, on the basis of the aggregate marks obtained in written test by the candidates.

(xvi) After drawal of merit list final result will be declared through website i.e. www.crpfindia.com and list of selected candidates State/Trade/Category wise will be uploaded in CRPF website.

Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) and (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by Government of India. Certificate of eligibility will however not be necessary in the case of candidates who are Gorkha subjects of Nepal.

(c) Educational Qualification: Candidates who have passed Engineering Degree course or are in the final year of Engineering course are eligible to apply. The candidates studying in the final year examination of Degree Course should be able to produce the Engineering Degree within 12 weeks from the date of commencement of training at OTA. Such candidates will be inducted on Additional Bond Basis for recovery of the cost of training at OTA as notified from time to time as well as stipend and pay & allowances paid, in case they fail to produce the requisite Degree Certificate within the specified time.
Important Note: - Candidates must note that the minimum educational qualification for induction into SSC(T)-49 Men and SSC(T)-20 Women is BE/B.Tech degree in the Engineering stream notified below.
