Public Health Engineering Department, Government of Assam with assistance from the World Bank is
currently engaged in implementation and sustainable maintenance of Rural Water Supply and Sanitation
Project in seven districts of Jorhat, Kamrup(M) ,Hailakandi, Bongaigaon, Sivsagar, Sonitpur and
Morigaon , Assam. Applications to fill up various vacant positions, in prescribed format as per

(Sewerage) Schemes. Experience of working in sanitation sector will be an
additional qualification Experience of working in community based Rural Water
supply and Sanitation Sector with external agencies like
World Bank etc., is desirable The applicant must be computer literate and has to be
well conversed with MS-Office package. Experience in project management software packages like
primavera, MS-project will be added advantage Strong communication skills in English, Hindi and Local
Language.

preferably in the rural space. Exceptional degree of integrity, judgment and tact in
handling the most sensitive, diverse and confidential
material. Strong communication skills in English, Hindi and Local
Language. Must be computer literate and should have knowledge of
SPSS, Excel, Access and other relevant software.

Educational Qualification And Expriances:- Master degree in engineering, social science,
environmental science, water and sanitation, or a related
field; 3 years of professional development experience in the
WASH sector, and significant project management
experience; Experience in implementing, designing, or coordinating
WASH in rural community ; Familiarity with community-based sanitation programs,
and with a diversity of latrine designs for rural
communities; Knowledge of SLWM technology options and experience
in implementing SLWM activities in rural areas Exceptional degree of integrity, judgment and tact in.handling the most sensitive, diverse and confidential
material. Fluency in English, Hindi and local language is necessary
and desirable; Willing to travel extensively in rural areas
4.MIS
Assistant
