Public Health Engineering Department, Government of Assam with assistance from the World Bank is currently engaged in implementation and sustainable maintenance of Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Project in seven districts of Jorhat, Kamrup(M) ,Hailakandi, Bongaigaon, Sivsagar, Sonitpur and Morigaon , Assam. Applications to fill up various vacant positions, in prescribed format as per Annexure-A along with all relevant self-attested testimonials are invited from eligible candidates for the under noted contractual positions so as to reach this office latest by 5 th January , 2017. 1. Project Engneering Speecialist

No of Posts:-(DPMUHailakandi, Jorhat and Kamrup)

Remuner ation (Max):-Rs. 55000 per Month inclusive of all incentives and per

Educational Qualification And Expriances:- Graduate in Civil engineering from any recognized institute .Minimum 5 years of relevant post qualification experience preferably in design, supervision, project management in the water supply sector/waste water (Sewerage) Schemes. Experience of working in sanitation sector will be an additional qualification  Experience of working in community based Rural Water supply and Sanitation Sector with external agencies like World Bank etc., is desirable  The applicant must be computer literate and has to be well conversed with MS-Office package.  Experience in project management software packages like primavera, MS-project will be added advantage  Strong communication skills in English, Hindi and Local Language.

2.M&E and MIS Specialis

Remuner ation (Max):Rs. 5.04 lakh per annum

Educational Qualification And Expriances:- Graduate /Post Graduate Degree  3 years of relevant experience with multi sectoral development agencies// NGOs / Consultants / Government Organizations in participatory development approaches.  Experience in establishing frameworks/ systems for MIS/ monitoring and evaluating projects or programmes, preferably in the rural space.  Exceptional degree of integrity, judgment and tact in handling the most sensitive, diverse and confidential material.  Strong communication skills in English, Hindi and Local Language.  Must be computer literate and should have knowledge of SPSS, Excel, Access and other relevant software.

3.Sanitation Specialist

No of Posts:4 (DPMU – Jorhat, Morigaon, Sivsagar and Bongaigaon)

Remuner ation (Max):-Rs. 5.04 lakh per annum

Educational Qualification And Expriances:- Master degree in engineering, social science, environmental science, water and sanitation, or a related field;  3 years of professional development experience in the WASH sector, and significant project management experience;  Experience in implementing, designing, or coordinating WASH in rural community ;  Familiarity with community-based sanitation programs, and with a diversity of latrine designs for rural communities;  Knowledge of SLWM technology options and experience in implementing SLWM activities in rural areas Exceptional degree of integrity, judgment and tact in.handling the most sensitive, diverse and confidential material.  Fluency in English, Hindi and local language is necessary and desirable;  Willing to travel extensively in rural areas

4.MIS Assistant

No of Posts:3 (DPMUMorigaon. Sivsagar and Bongaigaon)

Remuner ation (Max):Rs. 12000 per month inclusive of all incentives

Educational Qualification And Expriances:-  Graduate in any stream from recognized institute  Minimum 1 year of relevant post qualification experience in HH survey, data entry, MIS applications, data management etc  The applicant has to be well conversed with MS-office preferably in MS-excel and MS-access, MS-word, MSpower point etc. Diploma in Computer application and diploma in computer typing is desirable  Strong communication skills in English, Hindi and Local Language.

5.Office Assistant:-

No of Posts:3 (DPMUMorigaon. Sivsagar and Bongaigaon)

Remuner ation (Max):Rs. 10,000 per month

 Educational Qualification And Expriances:-  Graduate in any stream from recognized institute  Minimum 1 year of relevant post qualification experience in office administration/file management/office correspondence etc  Must be computer literate and should have diploma in computer application and type writing  Strong communication skills in English, Hindi and Local Language.
